The Placebo Effect – Your Mind Makes it Real
Researchers at Harvard Medical School’s Osher Research Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) have found that placebos work even when administered without the seemingly requisite deception.
The power of your mind upon your emotions and body is truly amazing.
People have said to me that hypnosis isn’t “real”. If focusing your attention on the desired result and using your imagination to create the feeling of its realization at the same time is possible, then I’d disagree with them. I don’t know if hypnosis isn’t “real”, and it doesn’t matter.
Clients who come for change work like the elimination of habits and fears and making adjustments in their thoughts and feeling about specific ideas that result in the measurable increase the quality of their lives are real. And that is all that matters.
The placebo effect — without deception, gives you the ability to be happier, healthier or enjoy life more, now. Welcome to the power of the human mind.

In the new analysis, published in JAMA Pediatrics, placebo pills alone led to a drop in kids’ headache frequency from between five and six headaches per month to three per month.
Researchers found only two drugs known to help migraine-plagued adults reduced the frequency of kids’ headaches better than a placebo. And even in those cases, the effect was small – a difference of less than one headache per month compared to the dummy pills. – Reuter’s Health
